 December 05 to December 07, 2025 / FRI 8 pm / SAT 6 pm / SUN 11 am MovingSpAces Alter_na_rra_tive Bodies HochX Alter_na_rra_tive Bodies by MovingSpAces (Stephanie Felber & Andrea Marton) explores how social norms and attributions shape our understanding of the body. The starting point is the dialogue with a diverse group of people of different ages, cultural backgrounds, physicalities and sexual orientations. Together, they question ideals of beauty, power structures, and the interplay of visibility and omission in public space. Through the interaction of dance and digital projections, a space emerges in which bodies are not seen as fixed entities, but revealed in their complexity – as fragile, resistant, vulnerable, powerful and transformative presences. A particular focus lies on female-read bodies. The project invites audiences to question perceptions and perspectives: Which images of bodies are dominant? Which experiences and existences are pushed to the margins? Which bodies are missing from our idea of normality – and what does it mean when certain stories remain unheard? Alter_na_rra_tive Bodies creates an artistic field where personal experiences and social discourses intersect. It is about collectively negotiating diversity, visibility and self-perception – and about asking which alternative narratives of bodies can emerge when familiar images are unsettled and new perspectives allowed to surface.
